1. Overview
EventLens ("we," "us") provides a live event media and engagement platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when organizers and guests use EventLens, how we use it, and the choices available. By using EventLens you agree to this policy.
2. Information we collect
- Organizer accounts: name, email, organization, and authentication credentials.
- Event content: event names, branding, sponsors, and configuration provided by organizers.
- Guest uploads: photos, optional captions, and optional display names guests choose to submit.
- Engagement signals: reactions, votes, gallery views, and QR scans, in aggregate, to power analytics.
- Operational data: standard server logs, device metadata, and IP-derived information used for security.
3. AI-assisted moderation
Every guest upload is screened by an automated moderation system before it appears on the live wall. The system evaluates image content for safety. Blocked items are retained in the organizer's moderation log so organizers can audit decisions, restore items, or remove them permanently. Organizers may also enable a manual review queue for sensitive events.
4. How we use information
- To operate the live wall, recap pages, and engagement features.
- To provide organizer analytics, including sponsor visibility estimates.
- To enforce moderation, prevent abuse, and protect event integrity.
- To support organizers and respond to inquiries.
5. Sharing
Guest uploads appear publicly within the event experience (upload page, live wall, recap) as designed. Photos are visible to anyone with the event link unless the organizer restricts the event. We do not sell personal information. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, storage, AI moderation) strictly to operate the service.
6. Data retention
Organizers can export and delete event galleries at any time. We retain event data for as long as the organizer's account is active, plus a limited operational window for backups and abuse prevention.
7. Your choices
Guests can choose not to upload a photo, omit their name, or request removal of an upload by contacting the event organizer or emailing privacy@eventlens.app. Organizers can manage account data from the dashboard or by contacting us.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and audited storage. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to improve safeguards.
